Conor Gallagher has come off the bench to make his England debut against San Marino on Monday night.
Gallagher has been one of the stars of the Premier League this season with his brilliance during his loan spell in Crystal Palace. After making his debut, the 21-year-old spoke to the official England Twitter account. As he walked from the field with his England cap in his hands, the Chelsea loanee was asked whether he would have thought earlier in the week that he would be making his senior debut."No, I didn't," he said, before the interview was interrupted by a grinning Emile Smith Rowe. "Well played. You're a legend," the Arsenal man can be heard saying before giving his teammate a pat on the back. "Congrats on the goal," Gallagher responded.Smith Rowe then ended the interaction by saying.
"Congrats on the debut, you deserved it."
