Jurgen Klopp has paid tribute to Liverpool defender Nat Phillips, following the club's victory over Burnley on Wednesday.
The Reds beat the Premier League rivals with a score of 3 - 0. During the match, Phillips played not only a key role in defence, but also scored one of the winning goals for his side.
Klopp was full of praise for the Reds' man, and speaking about him to
Sky Sports, he said after the clash:
“We saw Nat Phillips flying past the ball with closed eyes again! His defensive heading is outstanding, some of the best in the league.
The manager then added:
"Offensively there’s room for improvement because you have to open your eyes to score goals.”
Liverpool will play their last Premier League match of the season on Sunday when they face Crystal Palace.
