The Ivorian midfielder plans to stay in England even if he leaves Manchester City.
Yaya fought his way back to the starting XI after having troubles with the new manager Pep Guardiola.
Toure has been crucial for Manchester City in their push for a top 4 place, however, the player does not have any plans of staying with the Sky Blues, as his contract expires at the end of the season.
“I want to stay in England,” he told The National after City’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool yesterday.
“Otherwise I go to China or wherever, because it is that type of game I want to play in. If I want to play slow, I will go maybe to Bahrain or France, to Spain or Germany where it is going to be slowed down.
“In England, it is fantastic. My preference is City.”
Shockingly Man Utd can be the next stage of Toure’s career. His agent previously hinted that a move to Old Trafford is a possibility.
