Xherdan Shaqiri has spoken out on his future at Liverpool amid being linked with a move away from the club. Shaqiri is currently on international duty with Switzerland.
Shaqiri made 22 appearances in 2020/2021 season in which he scored one goal and provided 4 assists. The 29-year-old is currently under contract with the Reds until June 2023.
“At the moment, I don’t really want to talk about it,” he told a press conference on Tuesday afternoon when asked about his Liverpool future.
“I have a contract there and after the Euros, of course, I will talk to my agent. We will look at the situation and then we will decide how to proceed.”
Switzerland are preparing to face Italy on June 16 in their second match of EURO 2020 having drawn their first game with Wales.
