Xherdan Shaqiri has revealed he "decided to stay with Liverpool" this summer amid transfer speculations.
The Reds attacker has been linked with a number of clubs from Germany and Italy as Jurgen Klopp's side were looking to sell him for a £20m transfer fee.
However, Shaqiri, who tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday, gave a video interview to the Switzerland FA about his transfer future.
The midfielder said:
“The media write a lot - but in the end I'm with Liverpool.
"I have a long-term contract, I really feel good and I have decided to stay with Liverpool.
"In football there is always speculation.
"I think the national team comes at a good time to be able to play again and then attack again when I go back to Liverpool."
