Xhaka, White, Partey: Arsenal latest injury updates and team news ahead of Norwich

Arsenal are set to face Norwich City as soon as international break is over on Saturday, September 11. So ahead of the match let's take a look at the Gunners latest injury updates and team news. Granit Xhaka has tested positive for Covid-19 right before Switzerland’s clash with Greece on Wednesday evening. Swiss government's website claims that isolation after a positive coronavirus test "normally lasts 10 days". But the Swiss FA are planning to have a further test on Thursday, which may change his situation. Ben White will be available for selection  after the end of his 10-day quarantine. Arsenal's new centre-back tested positive for Covid prior to the clash with Chelsea at the Emirates on August 22, but he will be available for when the Gunners host Norwich next weekend if he returns a negative PCR test before then. Gabriel Magalhaes was unavailable for all of Arsenal's opening three Premier League games after suffering a knee injury whilst away with Brazil at the 2020 Olympics. But the centre-back returned to training before Arteta’s side’s trip to City and appears to steadily progressing back to full fitness, and did make an appearance for the U23s against Tottenham. Thomas Partey sustained an injury against Chelsea in a pre-season friendly on August 1 and has been out since. The Ghanian is reportedly working hard with the medical team and is set to return to training sometime this week to work on his fitness. Eddie Nketiah as well suffered an injury against Thomas Tuchel's side in pre-season, enduring an ankle problem that has kept him out until now. He is set to come back in training in early September, but it is unclear when he will next be available. Source - football.london Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
