Xavi explains why he turned down Barcelona job

Xavi has explained his decision to turn down Barcelona’s offer to replace Ernesto Valverde. Barcelona sacked Valverde and instead of Xavi, appointed Quique Setien as the new head coach. Xavi currently works at Qatari side Al Sadd. "It's true that I received an offer from Barcelona," Xavi told the press.  "[Barça directors] Éric Abidal and Óscar Grau made the offer, but I didn't accept it because I felt it was too soon for me to coach Barcelona. That doesn't mean it's not still my dream to coach Barcelona one day." Source- AS
