Porsche Taycan or 911? World Car Awards 2020. Nominees and favourites to win the five awards

All World Car award winners will be announced on April 8. Traditionally, the World Car Awards have always been announced at the New York International Auto Show, however, owing to the coronavirus outbreak, it will happen online. This will be the 16th year of the annual award and seventh based on Prime Research's 2019 media report. World Car Awards were officially launched in January 2004 and are administered by a not-for-profit association, under the guidance of an executive committee, a steering committee as well as a group of advisors. The award will be given to the winners of five categories: World Car of the Year, World Luxury Car, World Urban Car, World Performance Car and World Car Design of the Year. Who are the nominees? World Car Awards jurymen have named the "Top Three in the World" finalists for 2020 in March. A total of 86 jurymen from around the world named the 15 finalists, in voting overseen by KPMG.
