Wolves star returns to training earlier than expected

Conor Coady has returned to Wolverhampyon Wanderers pre-season training. Wolves captain was in international duty with England at the Euros, where the Three Lions picked up the silver medals. And, now, after getting his deserved rest Coady has returned to Wolves to prepare for the next season under new boss Bruno Lage.   Coady was expected to report to Compton when the squad returned from their Marbella training camp on Thursday, however he linked up with the squad ahead of last night’s 3-2 loss to Las Palmas. In an interview with the Athletic yesterday, the 28-year-old spoke about how keen he’d been to get back in training.
“Yeah, I’m a pain really. My missus goes mad. I’ve been looking at the Wolves lads,” he said.   “They’ve been on pre-season in Marbella, we’ve got a new manager and a new way of playing and I’m thinking, ‘I should be there, listening to him’.   “Amie says, ‘You’ve been with England for five weeks when they’ve been off’, and she’s right. I probably needed a breather. But I’m ready now. I want to be back.”
