Nuno Espirito Santo has revealed Wolves had not opened talks with him over a new contract.

The 46-year-old was linked with Chelsea and Arsenal.

Nuno will soon enter the final year of his £3m-a-year deal at Molineux.

He said: “They haven’t. There was no proposal – I have one more year on my contract. I don’t sign my own contract. It’s not up to me.”

“They can be totally assured every day that Wolves is my obsession, I don’t think about anything else. I signed last season, I renewed for one more year and I have one more year. When you sign something you stick to it.

“I’m settled here. I have one more year of my contract and I’m committed to it. It’s my life because I’m 100 per cent happy and I give everything.”
