Wolves head coach Bruno Lage thinks scoring a first goal in the Premier League for Francisco Trincao will help him to flourish.
The 21-year-old was on the bench for last weekend’s clash with West Ham United.
Trincao was the only change to the starting XI that lost to Crystal Palace 2-0 before the international break.
He has started eight games in the competition, but he has lacked consistency.
And Lage believes one goal will change the picture for Trincao.
He said:
“Also for Trincao. He’s played more and is doing well also. He can link the game and create a lot of chances. He’s missed a lot of chances, he needs one goal to be solid.”
The Portuguese winger did score against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup, but Trincao’s wait for a first Premier League goal goes on.
