Chelsea star Willian wants to be offered a new contract at the club as he is entering the final twelve months of his current deal.

He told Standard Sport: “From my side, I want to stay. I have one year left and I want to stay because I like to play for Chelsea. I love this club, I love to live in London and my family loves it here. I have been here six years already so everything is perfect for me. I want to win more titles here, I want to play more games, to score more goals so everything that I can do, I will try hard to do.”

The Brazilian has also stated that he loves working with his former teammate Frank Lampard, as he is now the coach.

Lampard and Chelsea are about to turn their attention to Champions League, with a group stage opener game against Valencia on Tuesday, while their next Premier League match is set to be against table-topping Liverpool.
