Williams F1 Team for sale following split with title sponsor

Williams is set to sale its 2020 Formula 1 team. The team linked up with the ROKiT group of companies for 2019 and this year twitched its colour scheme, with red joining the existing white and blue patterns. However, on Friday it was confirmed that Williams has split from ROKiT with immediate effect. The deal was set to run through 2023. Speaking to the official Formula 1 website, deputy team boss Claire Williams said: “Obviously the livery is something that we’ve got to look at and when we go racing again, hopefully in July. F1 have put a marker in the sand for July 5, we will unveil our new livery before we hit the racetrack.” Williams has already updated its social media channels, website and official branding in order to remove the company’s logos. The split from ROKiT came on a day in which Williams posted its financial results for 2019 and confirmed that it is considering a partial or full sale of the company. Source: carscoops
