William Saliba has talked about his loan move to Ligue 1 side Marseille and thinks that he will settle in with ease.
It is Saliba's third season in succession that he has been sent out on loan by Arsenal, as he spent time with both Saint-Etienne and Nice in each of the last two seasons.
But the defender is unfazed by another loan as he is confident that he’ll be able to adjust to his new surroundings.
"I am very proud to join one of the best French clubs,” he told Marseille’s official website, via Get French Football News. “I cannot wait to be on the Orange Vélodrome pitch. Where I am from, in Paris, lots of those close to me are for Marseille, I am proud to wear this shirt.”
Saliba will also re-join former Arsenal teammate Matteo Guendouzi at the club after the midfielder also signed on loan for the rest of the season.
"I know Mattéo (Guendouzi), Bouba (Boubacar Kamara)," he said. "I know them all, but those are who I am the closest with. I cannot wait to be back with my new team-mates so that we can work together.”
