Mohamed Salah is currently out with a hamstring injury which he suffered while on international duty with Egypt in AFCON 2023.
It was believed that if Salah recovered on time he could return to Africa Cup of Nations and help Egypt, however, the Pharaohs have been eliminated from round of 16 following a 8-7 on penalties defeat against DR Congo.
He suffered the injury during their 2-2 draw with Ghana and flew back to Liverpool for treatment.
The Reds will face Burnley in their next Premier League game on Saturday, February 10, 2024. The game could be too early for Salah to make his return.
Jurgen Klopp's side could expect the Egyptian to return to the squad against Brentford on February 17.
