How will Liverpool’s Champions League seeding be changed if they beat Tottenham

With just eight days to go, Liverpool are getting prepared for the Champions League final against Tottenham. The victory in Atletico Madrid's Estadio Metropolitano on June 1 could also make life easier for the Reds next Champions League campaign. Should the Reds lift the trophy on Saturday week, they will be placed in Pot One for the draw for next season's competition as top seeds. Pot One consists of the champions of the leading six European leagues according to UEFA's coefficient, along with the holders of the Champions League and Europa League. It means either Liverpool or Tottenham will join Barcelona, Manchester City, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Zenit St Petersburg as leading seeds. Should Liverpool lose in Madrid, though, they will go into Pot Two, which already contains Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli and, if they negotiate the final qualifying rounds, Porto.
