Will Fabinho be able to solve Jurgen Klopp’s defensive injury crises for Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp could make changes for Liverpool’s FA Cup clash with Wolves on Monday but still saw Liverpool’s injury list lengthen further. Fortunately for Klopp, summer signing Fabinho has the adaptability to fill in a variety of positions confidently and the Brazilian is likely to be key for Liverpool at the AMEX. According to Metro.co.uk there are two ways Klopp can configure his defence around the Brazilian for Liverpool’s weekend trip to the south coast. Fabinho, of course, is regarded as a central midfielder too, but Liverpool’s lack of available central defenders means he is likely to be pressed into duty in the middle of the back four instead, alongside Van Dijk. He could also have a role to play in building attacks from the back too given he has averaged an 83% pass completion rate in the Premier League this season.
