Manchester City have now received an injury boost ahead of the club's Premier League game against Liverpool as Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Erling Haaland's fitness.
The Citizens are currently on an international break with their respective clubs, with Erling Haaland serving for the Norway national team.
In the midweek's friendly against Faroe Islands, Haaland was subbed on the pitch and picked up another injury on his knee he had problems.
Speaking after the 2 - 0 win over Faroe Islands, Norway national team doctor Ola Sand said about the attacker's fitness, as per Vg: "He got a slight twist in his ankle, where he is a bit vulnerable. It hurts a lot right away, and then it goes away pretty quickly. Then we'll see tomorrow how he is then."
Now, according to sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Haaland's injury is not serious. The player is expected to miss Norway's upcoming game against Scotland but will be available for the Premier League showdown against Liverpool.
