Wijnaldum speaks out on Fabinho injury and sends message to Liverpool teammates

Yesterday Liverpool played a 1-1 draw against Napoli in the Champions League group stage game. During the game the Reds midfielder Fabinho suffered an injury and was substituted by Georginio Wijnaldum at the 19th minute. After the game, Wijnaldum provided an update on the midfielder and said they have to show that Fabinho's injury won't affect the team. "It is a blow, a big blow for the whole team, of course also for him as a player but there are situations you have to deal with," Wijnaldum said. "I think during the years we have had a few blows, injury and we just have to show we can deal with the situation. "We just have to show that it doesn't affect us. During the years we had some difficult injuries and difficult positions, last season when we didn’t have a right-sided defender, we just have to deal with it so we will see. "I have played [as a No.6] last season. You think I am ready? We will see!" source - LiverpoolEcho
