Paulo Dybala told his agent to cancel his move to Manchester United, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Jorge Antun, Dybala’s agent was in discussions with Manchester United’s vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
However, Dybala rung Antun and told him to pull out of the deal.
His decision, Dybala explained with a desire to stay in Italy, citing his love for the club and his lack of concern for a big-money move to the Premier League.
As well as United, Tottenham Hotspur were interested in signing the Argentina international.
Dybala actually visited London in January, where he posted pictures of him and his girlfriend Oriana Sabatini, posing just outside Tower Bridge.
