Who will host the UEFA EURO 2028?

UEFA EURO 2020 is in the history books now as after being postponed due to COVID 19 it took place from June 11, 2021, to July 11, 2021. Italy were crowned the winners as they reached the final with England and celebrated a 3-2 on penalties victory.

The next EURO will be in two years as it will take place in 2024 in Germany. The starting date for the tournament is June 14 and the final will be on July 14.

Following the tournament in Germany, the next EURO will be in 2028.

Who will host the UEFA EURO 2028?

Euro 2028 is set to take place in the United Kingdom and Ireland, following an uncontested bid.

The tournament will be hosted across 10 stadiums: six in England, and one each in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.

While the UK played host to matches during the rescheduled Euro 2020, which spanned multiple European cities, it's worth noting that this will mark the first instance of the country hosting the entire tournament since Euro 1996, which was exclusively held in England.

Typically, host nations receive automatic qualification for the tournament's finals. However, in this unique case involving five nations as co-hosts, it has been reported that they will all need to participate in the qualification process instead of receiving automatic berths.
