Whitaker reveals why Djokovic will feel worried after ATP finals

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic won the US Open and Wimbledon and also triumphed in Cincinnati and Shanghai in 2018. However, he failed to sign off the year on a high level after he lost to Alexander Zverev in the final of the ATP World Tour Finals. According to the Pundit Catherine Whitaker, Djokovic will be worried after losing to German because he is a perfectionist. “To be playing brilliant tennis and to feel unbeatable and how fantastically relaxed he is, he’s not letting this talk of Federer having ‘special treatment’ get to him. To be feeling that brilliant and to be beaten as soundly as he was [by Zverev] must just feel a bit worrying for him. Two consecutive final losses, it’s still been an exceptional year and he’s the best player of the year but he’s a perfectionist. He openly talks about breaking the records and beating [Roger] Federer and [Rafael] Nadal,” Whitaker said. Source- Express.co.uk
