3.00 Ascot – ESPOIR DE GUYE
Odds: 13/2
Has something to prove following a no-show over three miles here in December, but is perfectly capable of bouncing back over this shorter trip.
Won nicely over course and distance on his penultimate start insimilar sort of conditions and surely must have a bit left in the locker running off just 5lb higher.
3.45 Ascot – WAITING PATIENTLY
Odds: 9/4
The likely favourite looks a worthy nemesis, but the selection is surely the one to give him most to think about. To finish runner-up in the King George on his first outing since December 2019 tells you all that’s needed about his unquestionable ability.
Add to the mix his Grade One triumph at this track a few years ago and the stage is set for a massive run.
