What Manchester United chief Ed Woodward thinks about coronavirus affecting Liverpool title bid

Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward wants the Premier League to continue when the coronavirus pandemic passes. Premier League have been suspended due to coronavirus and on Thursday, the FA has made a decision to suspended the league until April 30. However, there was some suggestions that clubs may request the campaign is null and void so they can start afresh in August. The Athletic claim Woodward was very stringent in pushing for the current season to resume. The majority of the clubs agreed the remaining matches must be finished before the start of a new season. Liverpool are on course to win their first top-flight title in 30 years and Woodward was apparently 'very fair' in his analysis of the situation. Source: Express
