Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan says that Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp "both have taught him a lot" and they both are "part of his success". Before joining Premier League side, Gundogan spent 5 years with Borussia Dortmund. "Both have a place in my heart. Both have taught me a lot and they are a part of my success," Gundogan told Fantasy PL. "I feel privileged to call them both my managers and to have learnt so much from them. I can imagine there are a lot of other footballers who are jealous of me because they didn't have that possibility. "They maybe worked with one of them, but I've worked with both of them. They are the best managers in the world and it's a privilege to call them my managers." "The connection with Pep in a tactical way - how we both see the game - is pretty high," the midfielder added. "The connection with Klopp is more emotional but either way it's a joy - this is why we we play.
