Tottenham suffered a 3-1 defeat at Leeds United over the weekend and saw their hopes of a Champions League finish all but extinguished.
Despite conceding goals from Stuart Dallas, Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo, captain Hugo Lloris made five saves on the day and certainly deserved more for his efforts.
The Spurs goalkeeper was reportedly heard shouting desperately at his defence in order to get them organised, but the back four simply couldn’t deal with Leeds on the day.
According to
Football London,
Lloris often looked beleaguered watching the side on Saturday. But sadly for the Frenchman, it was impossible for him to stop the individual errors that were on show both over the weekend and the season as a whole.
Spurs are currently seventh in the Premier League standings with 56 points. Their upcoming match is on Sunday, when they will welcome Wolves.
