Bukayo Saka has previously claimed that playing for Arsenal is his ‘dream’ amid reports that clubs have approached the player over transfer.
Fabrizio Romano, a transfer expert, said that there is currently transfer interest in the 20-year-old from elsewhere, following an extremely impressive two seasons since he broke into the Gunners' first team.
But when signing his new contract in the summer of 2020 - a deal that is expected to run until 2024 - Saka admitted that he was fulfilling a life-long ambition of playing a key part in the first team at the Emirates Stadium.
Taking to Twitter, Saka said: “London is my home. Arsenal is my team.
“I'm so happy to finally announce my contract extension. I love playing for this club and I'm looking forward to what the future holds. The hard work continues so I can continue living my dream.”
In the Arsenal first-team, Saka has gone on to make 93 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners, scoring 12 goals.
