West Ham plot January move for Tottenham midfielder

West Ham are looking to bolster their midfield options and have identified Tottenham player Victor Wanyama as their January target. Wanyama, 27, moved to Tottenham from Southampton two years ago for a bargain £11million and has snice made 47 appearaces under Mauricio Pochettino. But a serious knee injury interrupted his displays last term and the midfielder struggled to adapt in the starting line-up. Wanyama has featured five times for Spurs this season and one of his two starts was against Barcelona at Wembley in the Champions League defeat earlier this month.
