Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger spoke about the race for earning a top-4 place in Premier League this season.
“I am a religious person, as I was given a strict education in a catholic school. I have grown up in a village, where everything was connected to religion, but now it’s not the same.
There were three main persons in the village: the doctor, the mayor and the priest. I still like the atmosphere in churches place.
Of course, my players ask me about the future, we talk a lot. But now the most important thing for me is the next match. We have to concentrate on important things, on the things that happen on the field.
We have to play well in the next match, give our best. In such periods the most important thing is the psychology, if you’re strong mentally, you will overcome the problems, regardless of the circumstances around you.
We are showing not the best football in recent 3 months, especially away from home. We are playing better at home, but in away matches we don’t manage to show our game. It’s hard to understand and analyze, because we didn’t face such problems in past,” Wenger said.
