Warriors president explains why Stephen Curry is Special

The Golden State Warriors president of basketball operations, Bob Myers has praised Stephen Curry during the recent appearance on 95.7 The Game. On June 25, 2009, the Warriors selected Curry with the seventh overall pick in the NBA Draft. He has, since then, led the Dubs to great success. With Curry in the team, the Warriors won three titles in the last five years. Curry won two consecutive MVP awards in 2015 and 2016- with the second one being selected unanimously. Myers, whlie talking about Curry, said that his ability to win games against all opponents is what makes him special. “You know what Curry does? He keeps you in every game,” he said.  “He gives you a chance to win every single game, no matter who you are playing, and that ability is what makes him special. So when you have him on your team, there’s no ceiling. There’s no, ‘Oh, we can’t win and can’t score.’ Better guy than player. "We’re talking about appreciating him. What you see is what you get. He doesn’t do the activism, he doesn’t talk about stuff on a podium and go home or get off the microphone and act a different way. As described, he delivers. He’s an authentic man. And that’s probably my favorite part of him.”
