Warriors head coach Steve Kerr reveals truth behind search for Stephen Curry backup

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has revealed the team’s plans on finding their final roster ahead of the 2021-2022 NBA season. Warriors still have one roster spot to fill after a quiet offseason which leaves the impression that Stephen Curry still needs one more piece, at the very least. However, Kerr isn’t rushing a decision, as according to the 55-year-old mentor, the front office isn’t pressured into making a decision on filling that empty spot right now.
“The way we’re looking at it is that it’s up in the air,” Kerr said (via NBC Sports).   “We may or may not use it, but that’s what training camp is for. You get a really good look at some guys, there are some really interesting names, people who are really proven players in the league. You get a chance to get a good look at those guys and some young guys who are trying to make it in the league.”
