Warriors GM opens up about Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green pressure to trade for a ‘proven player’

Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers has claimed that Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green aren’t pressuring him to trade for a proven player this offseason. Warriors had the worst record in the league this 2019-20 season. Stephen Curry only played in five games, Klay Thompson didn’t play at all due to his ACL tear and Draymond Green struggled as the lone All-Star on the team. Dubs will have one of the top picks in the 2020 draft. Myers, however, isn’t sure if the Dubs are going to keep the pick or trade it. “They want to win, we want to win. I don’t feel any pressure from any of them to do a certain thing. I know it’s been written that we need to win now and they need to get a proven player. They’ve not said that to me,” Bob Myers said of Stephen Curry and the other Warriors stars, per Nick Friedell of ESPN. Source- Clutch Points
