Warriors' Draymond Green provides major update on his health

Te Golden State Warriors are set to take on the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night, however, both teams suffer from injury problems. Draymond Green is still ruled out for the Warriors as the three-time All-Star continues to recover from a couple of injuries that have kept him out of the lineup for Golden State’s last 10 games. Recently, Green provided a timely update on his road to recovery and it looks like the former Defensive Player of the Year winner is going to be returning to the court sooner rather than later (h/t Anthony Slater of The Athletic):

“I’m feeling great,” Green told the TNT crew in a recent episode of Inside the NBA.   “I’ve been getting stronger each day. I actually got on the court today and got some shots up which was great and a step in the right direction.   "I’m just trying not to do it too fast, obviously, I want to make sure when I come back that I’m thriving, that I’m playing at an even higher level than I was than before I went out. So that’s the goal right now. I’m supposed to see the specialist again at the beginning of the week. So looking forward to that.   "Hopefully, I can continue to wrap up but the rehab has been going great. I’ve been extremely excited about the progress that I’ve made.”
