Virgil van Dijk believes Liverpool will have tough periods this season, in December and January and it is not the time to speaks about the 8 point advantage over Manchester City.
It was a tough but successful weekend for Merseyside club, as they beat Leicester, while Manchester City sensationally lost to Wolves at Etihad Stadium.
“So far we have been getting the points,” Van Dijk told Sky Sports.
“There is always room for improvement in our game. And I think we should just focus on all the games ahead of us and don’t look at any gaps or points or difference between us and the others, including City.
“There are a lot of busy periods coming up as well with December and January and anything can happen still.” Dutchman added.
After the international break Liverpool will face Manchester United at Olf Trafford Stadium.
