Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has sent a message to Max Verstappen after the Red Bull star won the F1 world title.

After a year of rivalry, the Dutch reached a victory in the final race in Abu Dhabi GP, beating Lewis Hamilton to become a world champion.

And Van Dijk took to Twitter to share some words for his fellow countryman. He wrote:<em> "What a boss".</em>
