Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk believes Takumi Minamino is "coming out of his shell." The Japanese forward scored Liverpool's equaliser against Arsenal in the Community Shield on the weekend. Minamino's goal at Wembley Stadium was his first for the Reds. Van Dijk said that Minamino has been “very good” since lockdown. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp was pleased that Minamino was able to find the back of the net against the Gunners. Klopp believes that Minamino is in good shape heading into the new season.
