"If Virgil van Dijk says leave it. You better leave it". Liverpool fans react to Van Dijk's comments on Joe Gomez

Virgil van Dijk has defended his Liverpool teammate Joe Gomez after a row with Raheem Sterling. "It's disappointing to see," said Van Dijk via Sky Sports. "I want to say as well it's been dealt with. I think everyone should stop talking about it because it's just a thing that happened. They all sorted it out. "Everyone needs to move on, leave Joe especially alone. But yes, it was disappointing to see."  Raheem Sterling and Joe Gomez clashed during  Liverpool’s 3-1 victory over Manchester City on Sunday and later, on Monday, the duo had a row as they met at at St George’s Park. Sterling was left out of England's squad to face Montenegro, while Joe Gomez was booed by the fans. After Van Dijk's comments, Liverpool fans took to Twitter to express their feelings as one wrote: "If Virgil van Dijk says leave it. You better leave it". Another one added: "Beautiful human being". Third one said: "Boss man".
