Virgil van Dijk reveals his thoughts on the 1-0 win over Sheffield United

Liverpool celebrated a 1-0 win over Sheffield United on Saturday as Georginio Wijnaldum scored the only goal of the game. With the win, the Reds continued their winning run as currently they are leading the league table with maximum points. After the game, Van Dijk revealed his thoughts on the victory at Bramall Lane.

“They made it very hard for us and I’m very happy we got the three points," said Van Dijk. “We have to win every game, that’s how it is. Everyone knew how tough it would be. It’s a great place to come, passionate fans, a great atmosphere. It was a tough game. “We’re definitely growing, we’re definitely getting more experience of that situation [being in a title race] and hopefully that will help us in the long run. “We have to be confident, you have to think you’re going to win every game otherwise you might as well stay at home. “We have the quality, we have the players. We’ll take this, recover and then prepare for Salzburg.”
