Virgil van Dijk to Real Madrid or Barcelona? Liverpool told to EXPECT huge transfer bid

BBC pundit Garth Crooks insists, Liverpool should expect a huge bid for Vigil van Dijk from Real Madrid and Barcelona this summer. Virgil van Dijk’s impressive form helped Liverpool in the hunt of Premier League title and he is favourite to win the PFA Player of the Year award in the coming weeks. The Centre-back has made 40 appearances for the Reds, has scored 4 goals and has provided 3 assists in all competition. Thanks to the Dutchman’s efforts, Liverpool have +55 goal difference in the Premier League and have conceded only 20 goals in 33 games. Jurgen Klopp’s side fighting for Premier League title and for the Champions League glory as they are in the quarterfinals of the competition were will play against Porto. Virgil van Dijk has a key role behind Liverpool’s success and Crooks thinks that will be making him a target for European giants and has told the Reds to expect a huge transfer bid from Real Madrid or Barcelona. “What a ball to Roberto Firmino from Virgil van Dijk," he said after Liverpool's win over Southampton. “The Dutch international didn't just boot the ball up the field, he turned a smart piece of defending into attack. This glorious counter enabled Firmino to square the ball for Jordan Henderson to score as Liverpool won at Southampton on Friday. “Real Madrid and Barcelona must be in frantic talks with their banks about how much it might cost to buy Van Dijk. An audacious bid is bound to happen sooner or later - if it hasn't already." Source- Daily Star
