Virgil Van Dijk makes important Mo Salah statement

Liverpool star Virgil Van Dijk insists Mo Salah is happy in Liverpool. Since moving from AS Roma in 2017, Salah has become one of the best players in the world. Egypt international has scored 32 goals in EPL last season to set new record. The new season, however, didn’t start as productive for Salah as 2017/18 campaign. Pharaon was even under criticism at some points for his poor performances. However, Salah seems to have his form regained after massive performances against Bournemouth in EPL and Napoli in Champions League. What was noticed was his clam celebration style. Van Dijk says that this type of celebration has nothing to do with Salah's happiness in Liverpool. “He’s scoring goals. He’s smiling. He can’t smile every second of the day but I know he’s enjoying it." Van Dijk said (via LiverpoolECHO) “So we don’t need to see any negative things about that, we just need to focus on the good things he does. “He scored a hat trick last at Bournemouth and scored again, an important one against Napoli so he’s been doing very well. “People can say he’s not scoring as many goals as last year, but that’s always from outside the club. “His level is very high and he showed that against a good defender like Kalidou Koulibaly. “It’s difficult to play against Mo. People underestimate how strong he is and a very important player, a great guy and he is deadly in the box.” he added.
