Sergio Aguero has publicly suggested that Valentin Barco might make a move from Boca Juniors to Manchester City in 2024.
This comes in the midst of numerous rumors surrounding the 19-year-old and a potential transfer to Manchester City. According to a report from Planeta Boca Juniors, Manchester City are reportedly preparing an £8 million offer for Barco, with plans to loan him back to Boca Juniors for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.
Valentin Barco, who wears the No.19 jersey for Boca Juniors, has impressed with his exceptional performances for the Argentine club, garnering the attention of both Pep Guardiola and Brighton.
Now, Aguero has hinted at the possibility of Barco joining Manchester City. He made a statement during a Q&A session on Twitch, saying:
“Very good player. Is he going to last a little longer at Boca or not? I don’t think he’ll last long. He’s very good. (Manchester) City will surely take him."
