VAR could be introduced from Champions League quarter-finals

UEFA consider introducing VAR from Champions League quarter-finals and the decision is expected to be made by the end of the month at a meeting of UEFA’s executive committee. The World Cup introduction of video assistant referees was welcomed with general success. And now UEFA believe that introducing VAR for the Champions League latter stages will monitor and control the system as well as repeat the success that of World Cup. The Champions League group stage draw will take place on August 30 in Monaco.
