Rafael van der Vaart has congratulated Donny van de Beek on his impending move to Old Trafford. Former Tottenham Hotspur star says the midfielder fully "deserves" to play for a club of Manchester United stature. The Red Devils have reportedly agreed a £40.3million deal with Ajax for Van de Beek’s signature. The Premier League giants are now expected to finalise a summer move for Van de Beek and former Netherlands star Van der Vaart is delighted for his fellow countryman. "Donny deserves this transfer so much. He has played excellently for Ajax," the ex-Ajax and Tottenham midfielder told Dutch outlet NOS. "And Manchester United really need this kind of player in their team. This transfer is fantastic for us [Dutch people] too. We are all going to follow him now. This move is so deserved."
