Valverde: "I'm not thinking about whether Rakitic will be here next season"

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has been linked with a move to Manchester United. His contract expires in the summer of 2021 and the player has recently stated that he wants to remain at the club. In his latest press conference, Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has spoken about Rakitic's situation. "I'm not thinking about whether Rakitic is here or not next season. Not him, or anybody else," said Valverde. Rakitic has been a key player of Valverde's team so far as he has made 39 appearances across all competitions with having scored 5 goals and assisted 7 times.
