Chris Wheatley has published some interesting announcements made by Arsenal head coach Unai Emery in his press conference.
The head coach used his chance to speak about Mesut Ozil who recently has been in a tough situation following his international retirement.
“For us, we want Mesut to feel this as his home. We are a family and it is good for us that he decided to come here three days before and start training with us,” Emery said.
“We are working hard with the current players and I’m happy with the squad. Only if there is an opportunity to sign one big player, we might look for it.
The Spaniard also referred to the latest news on Arsenal executive Ivan Gazidis, who has been linked with a shock move away from the club.
Emery: “Ivan Gazidis has continued here for a very long time and I think he will continue here because the project is very big here. I expect him to stay and we have speaking about every decision with him,” Emery added.
