Unai Emery tells Arsenal he wants reunion with PSG centre-back

Arsenal manager Unai Emery wants to sign Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe despite their modest transfer budget. Le 10 Sport report that Emery is a huge fan of his old PSG defender Kimpembe and ideally wants a reunion with the World Cup winner this summer. Thomas Tuchel  has been dissatisfied with the defender’s performances, particularly in the Champions League defeat to Manchester United and want to offload him. But Kimpembe is well liked by Emery and he handed the defender 28 appearances in Ligue 1 in their final season together at PSG PSG value the 23-year-old in excess of £35million, meaning any deal would virtually wipe out their entire summer transfer budget.
