Unai Emery reveals in which area he would play Denis Suarez

Unai Emery has revealed he wants to bring in a new centre-back and a winger before the end of the January transfer window. The Spaniard has revealed that talks  have been opened over a move for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez. But the manager also admitted that he would like to bring in a central defender, with injuries continuing to hit squad in the defensive positions. “I don’t know,” said Emery, when asked how close a deal was for Suarez. “I think the club is working for the possibility to take some players who can help us during these next four months. “Maybe the transfer market can help us with a centre-back, but it is not easy because also [Konstantinos] Mavropanos is also coming back after injury. “Also a winger, right or left, one player can help us in this position.” When pressed on what position he believed was best Suarez’s best, Emery added: “He was playing in his career, and also with me also, as a right or left winger.” His potential arrival could open the door for Aaron Ramsey to move to Juventus this month, although Emery would prefer to keep the Wales international until his contract expires in the summer.
