Unai Emery responds to rumours of Guendouzi's PSG transfer

Paris Saint-Germain are said to be monitoring Matteo Guendouzi and have been linked with a £60 million move. Arsenal spent just £7 million to land the French midfielder from Ligue 2 outfit FC Lorient in the summer - and could make a huge profit if they sell. However, boss Unai Emery does not want to cash in on Guendouzi. Speaking of the midfielder after Arsenal’s comeback 3-0 win in the second leg of their last-32 fixture against BATE in the Europa League, Emery said, "His development is like we want. He has big ambition, big quality. Sometimes we need more quality with him and for him to be stronger in midfield. But his development with us is very important and he’s playing with big consistency. His quality is very impressive." When asked about Guendouzi's reported PSG interest, the manager replied, "I am surprised. I don't want this."
