Unai Emery lines up move for World Cup 2018 star

According to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, Arsenal are believed to be very interested in Ever Banega and Emery will talk with Sevilla over the next few days regarding a deal. The 29-year-old, who is currently on international duty with Argentina, knows the new Arsenal boss very well having worked with him at both Valencia and Sevilla. Emery is also a big fan of the player and he praised him when he departed the Andalucian club for Inter Milan in 2016. He said: "I have a great relationship with him. It’s one of love and hate. "I love him, because he's a boy who loves football, who endears himself to you and who gives you all of his heart and his ability - and he has a lot." Banega has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in the past, notably Everton, yet a move to England has never come to fruition.
