Unai Emery gives worrying injury update following Arsenal 2-2 draw against Manchester United

Arsenal had a 2-2 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday. The Gunners went in front of either half, but goals from Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard earned Manchester United points. Though the Gunners extended their unbeaten run to 20 games in all competitions, they have injured players which is a major worry. Rob Holding suffered a serious knee injury during the first half and was stretched off, while Aaron Ramsey injured his ankle just before half-time and was replaced by Henrikh Mkhitaryan at the break. And speaking after the 2-2 draw, Emery admitted the injury suffered by Holding was a real concern. "That's the worst news for us," said Arsenal's head coach. "We are going to wait for the doctors, but it is a big injury. It’s his knee." Emery was less concerned about Ramsey as he said: "Aaron I think it is a small injury," said Emery. "After these two injuries every player went out with good commitment and good mentality to keep our performance on the game. "I am very proud for our work and how every player responded in the 90 minutes. When we are winning it was a good moment but they equalised very quickly. "The second half I think our players worked to win. We were close more than them to get the third goal, but De Gea made good saves. "We couldn’t control for the full 90 minutes. This draw is not the best, but not the worst. I said to the players now we need to finish this week well [against Huddersfield]."
